How do I get a residence permit?

Everyone who lives in StädteRegion Aachen including the city of Aachen and who studies at RWTH AC can apply for a residence permit . All you have got to do is go see the branch office of the immigration office at the RWTH Super C building. The branch office is in charge of all foreign students and research staff of RWTH that are non-european citizens, as well as their family members. Students of FH Aachen and other universities however can only apply at the central immigration office in Hackländerstr. 1, right next to the central station.
